Welcome to our new website! Since 2008, Lighten Up Sounds has carved out a home for the outer edges of experimental music and sound art. With a catalog over 130 titles deep, we’ve worked with artists around the globe to release music that challenges, transforms, and connects.

We’re known for our limited edition cassettes, but we support vinyl, lathe-cuts, VHS, and even the most esoteric of analog formats, the 8-track cartridge. We work diligently to keep music tangible in a digital age.
